Strathaven Choral Society has performed a wide repertoire from baroque to modern since 1972.

Following on from the visit by the Haderslev Choir to Scotland in June 2004, Strathaven Choral Society travel to Haderslev for the return trip.
A selection of old and new music from Brahms, Parry, Faure, Elgar, Burns, Sullivan and Burns was performed at Christiansfeld (10 April) and Haderslev (12 April).
Selection of music including some Madrigals and other works from our repertoire by Vaughan Williams, Fauré and Elgar.
We performed an abbreviated (30 minutes) form of our successful
Family Music Afternoon, followed by
an evening Classical Musical Selection in conjunction
with Lanark and Carluke Choral Union.

Following the visit by the Tumba Kyrkokör (Tumba Church Choir), from near Stockholm in Sweden in May 2007, Strathaven Choral Society visited Tumba under the baton of Musical Director - Aidan Broadbridge - with accompanist Fiona Mackie. Members of the SCS Junior Choir also took part in this trip, which included concerts at Sofia Church, Stockholm on the Saturday afternoon and Tumba Church on the Sunday evening.
